Dental technology works as a system, even when it comes from many different vendors. Odyssey Solutions supports the infrastructure and connections around that system: servers, workstations, identities, networks, backups, security controls, device connectivity, and technical vendor coordination.
Featured: MyDentalForce for multi-location operations
MyDentalForce is an operations platform created for multi-location dental groups. Its official product information describes centralized production and collection analytics, referral and new-patient tracking, billing and claims oversight, goal tracking, document controls, reviews, and custom reporting. It currently advertises direct data synchronization with Open Dental through a secure API.
Odyssey can help a group prepare its Open Dental environment, network, identity and access, workstations, security controls, and onboarding process around a MyDentalForce deployment. We also help define data ownership, access roles, vendor responsibilities, backup dependencies, and an escalation path before rollout. Read our MyDentalForce readiness guide.
Practice-management software
Open Dental conversions and setup
We prepare servers, networks, workstations, permissions, backups, imaging bridges, and validation plans while coordinating database-conversion work with Open Dental's conversion team. We do not represent the vendor or independently replace its conversion process. See the Open Dental conversion IT checklist.
Eaglesoft and selected Henry Schein products
We support the surrounding IT environment for Eaglesoft and selected Henry Schein products: workstations, server health, connectivity, device communication, backups, permissions, and vendor escalation. Exact product and version support is confirmed during discovery.
Imaging software and intraoral sensors
Dental imaging problems often cross application, driver, sensor, bridge, workstation, display, storage, and network boundaries. We coordinate installation and troubleshooting, document device-to-operatory assignments, validate image flow, and protect image data with access controls and backups. Vendor clinical training, calibration, warranties, and product-specific service remain with the manufacturer or authorized provider.
Analytics, scheduling, payments, and claims
- Practice by Numbers and other analytics platforms: connectivity, access design, data-flow review, workstation readiness, and vendor coordination.
- Zocdoc: technical support around account access, scheduling connections, workstation and network readiness, and escalation to Zocdoc for product-specific issues.
- Crown by Moolah: network, workstation, device, permissions, security, and vendor coordination around the dental payment workflow.
- EDS: standard support for practices using EDS claims and eligibility services, including connectivity, workstation, browser, access, and vendor escalation. EDS is treated as a separate third-party product.
Networks, VPNs, office builds, and remote monitoring
We design and support structured networks, managed Wi-Fi or mesh networks where appropriate, guest and clinical segmentation, custom VPNs, firewalls, switches, secure remote access, and full dental-office technology setups. Remote monitoring can cover workstations, servers, backups, and network infrastructure with named administrators, multifactor authentication where supported, audit logging, patching, and defined alert response.
What our support does—and does not—mean
Odyssey's experience with a named product does not imply sponsorship, certification, resale authorization, or an official partnership unless expressly stated. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Vendor-provided application support, licensing, clinical training, database conversion, and warranties remain subject to each vendor's agreement. Odyssey owns the IT work we agree to perform and coordinates issues so the practice is not caught between vendors.
